Kevin Ward

Kevin Ward is Head of Marketing for Premium Credit. 

His direct responsibilities encompass all marketing communications, research, product development and promotional initiatives across the company’s premium finance and annual fee finance operations.  Kevin manages the Premium Credit brand and in May 2009, he spearheaded the launch of the company’s new corporate identity, following a concerted programme of external and internal research.  Kevin also re-launched the Premium Credit website in November 2009, introducing improved interactivity and navigation and ensuring a consistent look and feel across the site.

Prior to joining Premium Credit, Kevin held the role of Marketing Campaign Manager at Just Retirement, the enhanced annuity and equity release specialists.  Here, he planned and implemented the company’s innovative ‘Campaign for Better Annuities’ initiative.  He also developed the company’s Investors Relations website in just two weeks, as a pre-requisite for the organisation achieving its Alternative Investment Market (AIM) listing in 2006.  Kevin also managed the initial affinity marketing relationship with Saga, when equity release subsidiary Just Retirement Solutions was set up.

His commercial background also includes 5 years with Nationwide Building Society subsidiary and self-certification mortgage specialists UCB Home Loans, who have since evolved into The Mortgage Works.  In his position as Communications Manager, Kevin was responsible for the delivery of all intermediary and customer communications together with business acquisition for the company’s direct sales arm.  His achievements included the generation of over 1,000 leads from one direct marketing campaign and the securing of his Institute of Leadership and Management accreditation.

Kevin began his financial services career with Independent Insurance where he gained invaluable expertise in a wide variety of marketing roles.  He latterly became a Marketing Development Consultant, providing bespoke marketing consultancy to both commercial and personal lines brokers.

All in all, Kevin has more than 14 years’ experience in the financial services sector.
