Jonathan Cattle

Jonathan Cattle is Chief Operating Officer for Premium Credit.

His responsibilities encompass company operations and the corporate project management team.  He is also responsible for the definition and delivery of the business’s strategic road map.  This ensures that Premium Credit can operate as a market-leading efficient and low-cost provider.  Since coming on board in 2008, Jonathan has already undertaken a complete reorganisation of operational and development functions and implemented a new IT platform for Holmwoods Termtime, our popular school fee payment service.

Jonathan held the role of Head of IT at the London Metal Exchange before joining Premium Credit.  Here, he gave both IT systems and department a complete overhaul so they could effectively support the burgeoning trading volumes which topped $10 trillion annually.  He also implemented an extremely high availability architecture, infrastructure and systems, all essential to the smooth running of the business. 

Prior to this, Jonathan was Director of Close Premium Finance, a division of the Close Brothers Group.  During his time with the company, he put together the technology and programme management teams, established and drove forward the Spanish Business venture and created a 24/7 accessible real time systems structure.  He previously held IT consultancy roles at both Oracle and Price Waterhouse.

Jonathan has more than 20 years’ IT system and process experience in a wide variety of industries, but with particular emphasis on financial services.  In addition, he has spent over 12 years applying his expertise in the premium finance sector.
