Jenny Johnson

Jenny Johnson is Chief Accounting Officer for Premium Credit.

Her remit encompasses all aspects of financial control and reporting, including accounting operations, statutory accounts, taxation, treasury and banking.  During her time with us, Jenny has significantly enhanced our culture of financial control and so achieved improvements in accuracy, control and the timeliness of financial reporting.  Her team has also successfully introduced bank reconciliation software to the company which has made overall bank reconciliation processes more streamlined and efficient.

Prior to joining Premium Credit, Jenny served as Head of Finance Services at the not-for-profit public company, Motability Operations, the largest fleet operator in the UK.  Here, she was a key member of the working party established to undertake a £10 million IT project.  Previously, she held the role of Group Financial Controller at Hitachi Capital UK, part of the global Hitachi Group.  During her time with Hitachi she and her team successfully spearheaded the firm’s financial software upgrade to Oracle11i and rolled it out to three subsidiary companies. 

Before this, Jenny was with LeasPlan UK/Dial Contracts as Head of Financial Control.  She worked alongside the Finance Director, producing the necessary documentation to effect corporate sale and merger activities.  She was also integral to the project that subsequently aligned accounting systems and migrated large volumes of leased vehicles on to a single platform.  Her career beginnings were founded in a variety of chartered accountancy practices.

Jenny has more than 10 years’ experience in the financial services arena and is a Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales).
