Andrew Hills
Andrew Hills is Underwriting Manager for Premium Credit.
He takes responsibility for the effective day to day functioning of the underwriting team. As part of his role, Andrew safeguards the consistent application of corporate lending policies and maintains the required standards of service and loan quality.
Prior to joining Premium Credit, Andrew held a senior account management role with Singer & Friedlander, which also included a loan underwriting mandate. During his time with the firm, he successfully secured a significant dealer account and played a key part in the parent company’s provision of stock funding facilities. Previously, he held a variety of positions with United Dominions Trust, a Lloyds TSB company where he enjoyed extensive career progression. Andrew’s roles included Account Manager and Sales Manager. In the latter, he was responsible for growing sales of incremental products together with providing credit reviews and recommendations for car stocking finance. The earliest part of his career was spent as Account Manager with Mercantile Credit, part of Barclays Bank. This involved working out in the field and liaising with motor dealerships, ranging from smaller independents up to the big nationals.
Andrew has considerable experience gathered from over 20 years’ spent in the instalment credit industry.
