Alan Atkins
Alan Atkins is National and Key Accounts Senior Manager for Premium Credit.
He is directly responsible for the profitable management of resources to support our existing national and key clients and for the acquisition of new accounts. This involves him in the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans to ensure the growth of our business. During his relatively short time in his current role, Alan has already successfully increased new business and brought a number of very significant new accounts on board.
Prior to joining Premium Credit, Alan developed new business and managed existing accounts for RBS Finsure, where he received the Chief Executive’s Award for improving operational procedures and driving up divisional income. His previous role was as Account Manager with RBS Insurance, focusing on the East Anglia and Midlands regions. Alan began his career with NIG Skandia, where he spent a number of years working in a wide variety of roles. These included vehicle claims handling, bespoke personal lines underwriting together with sales and product development. In another role, Alan was a key member of a credit and debt management team, which recovered over £1.1 million of outstanding premiums in just a 6-month period. He also received the accolade of an Excellence Award for delivering outstanding service to brokers.
All in all, Alan has over 14 years’ experience in the insurance and finance industry.
